The HSM Brushless Servo Motors series is a low-inertia permanent-magnet servo motor family designed for high-acceleration, high-duty-cycle motion applications such as conveyors, packaging equipment, material feeding, and robotic pick-and-place systems.
The series includes five frame sizes and twelve models, with continuous torque ratings from 0.5 to 50 Nm and operating speeds up to 6000 RPM. These motors use neodymium-iron-boron magnet rotors to achieve low inertia and strong acceleration characteristics, and they include an internal thermal switch for overheating indication. Standard feedback is provided by a motor-mounted optical encoder with 2000 quadrature pulses, an index pulse, and commutation channels for trapezoidal drives. The series is also built for industrial environments with watertight MS connections, optional 24 VDC or 90 VDC spring-set holding brakes, and an IP65 package when equipped with the optional shaft seal kit.
