M.1015.8015 is a Kollmorgen servo motor. It is part of the HSM product line. Applications for HSM motors include smart conveyors, packaging machines, robotic pick-and-place, and punch presses. These motors are well suited to applications that required ruggedness, high acceleration and peak torque, and high speed positioning. Standard HSM motor features include a compact mechanical design, watertight connections that work with standard cable assemblies, integrated optical encoder, and integrated thermal switches for overheat protection. Operators can deploy HSM motors in harsh environments, which is supported by the IP65 rating for the motor housing and cable connectors. Operators can order optional 24/90 Volts DC brakes for HSM motors. The motors are certified by CE and recognized by UL. M.1015.8015 is a HSM630 series motor with a 90 Volts DC brake.
