The M.1015.7994 is a brushless AC servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the HSM Brushless Servo Motors series. Designed for industrial automation, the unit converts precise drive commands into controlled mechanical motion for indexing tables, pick-and-place axes, and packaging machinery. An integrated power-off brake allows the rotor to hold its position when the drive is disabled, supporting vertical loads and safety interlocks.
The motor provides continuous torque of 3.4 Nm, which it can sustain without overheating, while the mechanical design permits a top speed of 4000 rpm for fast indexing cycles. The stator is wound for a supply of 230 VAC, matching common industrial control cabinets. With the brake installed, the overall length reaches 266 mm, which must be considered when reserving installation space or establishing gearbox clearance. For short-duty surges, the magnetic stack produces up to 11.3 Nm of peak torque, providing additional acceleration capacity.
