The 07.S6.K12-1100 servo inverter is produced by KEB as part of the S6 Combivert Servo Drives series. Designed for cabinet mounting, the unit serves as the power stage and control layer between a three-phase mains supply and synchronous or asynchronous servo motors used in automated machinery. By modulating the DC link and switching its IGBT bridge, the drive delivers regulated voltage and frequency to the motor so axes can accelerate, hold position, or follow interpolated motion profiles commanded by the machine controller.
At its nominal operating point, the drive accepts a three-phase supply of 400 V at a continuous input current of 3.6 A, producing a rated apparent output power of 1.8 kVA for the connected motor. The internal DC link is buffered by 195 µF of capacitance, which provides energy storage for dynamic braking and ride-through events. With 0.75 kW of rated motor power, the inverter suits moderate-torque axes. Control electronics operate in the COMPACT configuration, and the IGBT bridge uses a high carrier frequency to minimize audible noise while maintaining current loop bandwidth.
