PB SANMOTION Servo Drivers

The PB SANMOTION Servo Drivers series is a family of drive units built for SANMOTION closed-loop stepping systems, combining stepping-motor control with encoder-based feedback to improve positioning reliability, reduce step-out risk, and maintain stable stopping behavior.

The series includes AC input and DC input configurations, with interface options such as RS-485 plus parallel I/O, pulse train input, multi-input control, and multi-axis EtherCAT communication to support different machine control architectures. Depending on the model, the drivers support command resolutions from 500 P/R up to 32,000 P/R in standard configurations, while EtherCAT versions extend resolution capability much further and can also work with battery-less absolute encoder feedback. Functional features across the series include built-in holding brake control, homing, push-current control, relative and absolute motion commands, Jog operation, and onboard parameter setting through a digital operator with LED display. The PB SANMOTION Servo Drivers series also includes protection and diagnostic functions for conditions such as overvoltage, overheat, overload, overspeed, encoder disconnection, and memory or CPU faults, with additional setup and monitoring support available through SANMOTION software.
