Product Description:
The PB1D002R100 is an advanced servo driver, designed with a durable die-cast aluminum housing, offers flexible control and precise motor management. Sanyo Denki is the manufacturer of this module and it comes in the line of PB SANMOTION Servo Drivers series.
The PB1D002R100 Servo Drive comes with a Phase origin monitor output/ Alarm output signal mechanism which provides feedback about the phase origin (the starting point of the motor) and alarms in case of abnormal conditions, such as an error or malfunction. The limits of current and voltage suggest the amount of power the output signal can handle. It is featured with an automatic current limiting which prevents overcurrent situations by automatically limiting the current when it exceeds a certain threshold and protects the motor and the driver from damage. This module is encased in a die-cast aluminum housing, which is lightweight, durable and efficient at dissipating heat. The model uses a photocoupler input method to receive commands. The use of photocoupler helps isolate the control signal electrically which makes it more stable and noise resistant. The value 260 ohm of its input resistance helps define the load characteristics of the input signal. This servo drive accepts pulse signals in either 1-input or 2-input mode, which is a common way to control the motor’s position and speed by sending pulses.
The PB1D002R100 servo drive can be connected to a PC for parameter adjustment and monitoring the driver's operating status which makes it easier to customize and troubleshoot. It is also featured with Initial excitation phase due to which it remembers the last motor position or excitation state (the electrical state of the motor) after power is turned off and back on which improves performance consistency.
Frequently Asked Questions about PB1D002R100:
Q: What is the advantage of the automatic current limiting feature in the PB1D002R100?
A: The automatic current limiting prevents overcurrent situations and protects the motor and driver. This feature enhances safety and ensures long-term system reliability.
Q: How does the Phase origin monitor output work in the PB1D002R100 servo driver?
A: The Phase origin monitor output helps detect the motor's starting point and provides alerts in case of errors. This ensures precise motor positioning and safety during operation.
Q: Why is the PB1D002R100’s photocoupler input method used?
A: The photocoupler input method electrically isolates control signals, ensuring stable and noise-resistant operation. It improves the servo driver’s reliability and protects the system from electrical interference.
Q: What is the significance of the 260Ω input resistance in the PB1D002R100?
A: The 260Ω input resistance defines the load characteristics of the input signal. It ensures proper signal transmission and avoids errors in the command pulse input process.
Q: How does the PB1D002R100 handle motor wire breakage detection?
A: The motor wire breakage detection feature identifies when the motor wires are disconnected. This prevents potential damage to the system and improves fault detection and recovery.
