Product Description:
The BS1D200P10 is an I/O conversion module manufactured by Sanyo Denki as part of the PB SANMOTION Servo Drivers series. The unit accepts pulse-train commands from a PLC or motion controller and routes them to a matched servo amplifier, enabling a motor to follow precise position and velocity targets in industrial automation equipment. By electrically isolating the control side from the drive side, it maintains signal integrity and reduces the risk of ground loops on high-speed production lines. This interface also serves as a compact accessory for panel installation.
Its input circuit uses a photocoupler arrangement, providing galvanic isolation while presenting an input resistance of 220 Ω to the driving controller. The section accepts differential or single-ended pulse signals at 24/36 VDC ±10%, allowing direct connection to common logic rails. Signal edges can be processed at up to 150 kpulse/s, supporting fine resolution at high traverse speeds, provided the pulse duty does not exceed a maximum of 50%. Installation Category I indicates the applicable transient overvoltage conditions, while a dielectric strength of 0.5 kVAC and a minimum insulation resistance of 10 MΩ separate the low-energy circuits from neighboring conductors. The design has Protection Class III, indicating operation from a separated extra-low-voltage source.
On the output side, the board employs an open-collector driver that can withstand a maximum of 40 V at its collector terminal and sink a maximum load current of 10 mA for feedback or handshake lines. A dedicated source circuit can deliver 3 A to external devices when used as a common supply rail. The monitor port advances in discrete steps of 7.2°, enabling coarse verification of servo shaft movement without requiring full encoder data. The unit has minimal impact on cabinet loading because it weighs only 0.09 kg. Its wiring is secured by screw terminals, providing firm conductor connections and convenient access during installation or maintenance.
