The SERVOSTAR-343 is just one part created by an American based firm Kollmorgen. The company specializes in building motion and control devices such as inverter drives, motors, servos and stepping devices that offer high performance. The SERVOSTAR-343 comes with numerous useful features. It can be operated with 5V or 24V clock and direction signal with speed control of 10V. It comes with a modular design that allows easy engine monitoring and supports the directional limit switch. The device can be parametrizable for numerous motor types.

This amplify can be utilized with PC turning, Mach3, PCNC and among others. It is easy to operate the device because of these features.

The auto turning function of SERVOSTAR-343’s software is divided into 3 phases, based on the requirement of manual involvement. When on the highest automation level, all relevant filters and control functions are automatically defined. The determination of the characteristic data is performed with the engine installed under load. Corrections are made by specific filtering and control when system mechanics undergo unfavorable properties. The SERVOSTAR-343 can communicate with a variety of feedback systems and assess up to three systems. This leads to higher flexibility in the incorporation into various applications.

Almost all recognized field bus connections, for ideal communications between digital servo drivers and all commercially used controllers, are supported. Some of these devices include PROFIBUS DP EN 50170 u.v.m, SynqNet, Sercos interface IEC 61491, CAN standard ISO 11898, RS232 and EtherCat.

When using this device, a secure startup lock is implemented automatically. Increasing demands results in the need to let safe interventions even when the machine is running.
