The Slo-Syn Stepping Motors series is a family of brushless permanent-magnet DC step motors built for precise incremental positioning in motion-control applications.
The line spans NEMA 23, 34, 42, and 66 frame sizes and includes standard, high-torque, washdown, and hazardous-duty versions to suit different operating environments. Across the series, the motors use rugged square-frame construction with stainless steel shafts, double-shielded ball bearings, and permanent-magnet rotors, and many versions can be ordered with terminal boxes, encoders, precision gearheads, or rear shaft extensions. The motors are offered in multiple winding and lead configurations, and selected versions provide up to 150% or 200% torque reserve with typical step accuracy ratings as tight as ±2% to ±3% depending on the model family. The series is intended for applications such as packaging, material handling, semiconductor manufacturing, printing, robotics, automation, and other systems that need repeatable step-by-step motion without relying on complex feedback devices.
