The PST Power Supplies series is a line of linear, unregulated power supplies designed to provide DC bus power for Copley Controls PWM servo amplifiers.
The series uses an internal toroidal transformer and combines power conversion, amplifier mounting, and optional forced-air cooling in a compact package that can support up to six amplifiers. Depending on the model, the series is available for standard 120 VAC mains or switch-selectable 115/230 VAC operation, with output versions including 40 VDC, 70/75 VDC, and 140/150 VDC classes to match different amplifier voltage requirements. Electrical design features include full-load ripple specifications, peak current capability above continuous rating for short duty cycles, chassis grounding provisions, and thermal circuit breakers that protect the AC input without nuisance tripping during capacitor inrush. The PST Power Supplies series is intended for multi-axis servo installations where compact integration, straightforward wiring, and centralized power distribution are required.
