The Bosch Rexroth Indramat VM Amplifier Drives is a modular power-module family used within the ServoDyn D drive system for industrial motion applications.
The series was designed around a digitally controlled, modular architecture that supports both synchronous and asynchronous motor systems. VM variants were offered in multiple power classes, with rated outputs ranging from 16 kW to 57 kW and peak power reaching as high as 97 kW, depending on the module version. The modules operate from a three-phase 380 to 415 VAC supply and generate a regulated 670 VDC DC link for the connected drive system. Rather than serving as a general-purpose “suite” for every level of automation, the VM line is more accurately described as a defined modular power platform for ServoDyn D installations that need scalable drive capacity and coordinated system integration.
