The MS2M Ultra Compact Motors are maintenance-free synchronous servomotors built for industrial machinery and offered in three frame sizes with continuous mechanical output up to 1000 W.
The series is designed for high power density in a short overall length, with reduced flange dimensions that make it suitable for space-constrained machine designs. These motors use self-cooling, carry an IP65 protection rating, and are available with or without an electrically released 24 V DC holding brake. Position feedback is provided by an optical absolute encoder, with singleturn operation standard and multiturn capability available through an external battery box accessory. The series also uses compact M17 power and encoder connections and includes winding variants intended for operation with compatible 3 x AC 230 V drive systems.
