Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MS2M04-A0FNN-KMDL0 servo motor as part of the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. This ultra-compact motor supplies controlled rotation to small automation axes where envelope space and wiring depth are constrained. It serves as the prime mover for positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, and other industrial automation stages that demand precise torque delivery and encoder-based feedback. Its short body format is suited to transfer modules and compact handling units where cable clearance is limited near moving parts.

The motor delivers 0.75 kW to the shaft while maintaining a nominal speed of 3000 rpm; at that speed, its continuous torque is 2.39 Nm. During acceleration, the torque ceiling rises to 7.16 Nm, supported by a rated phase current of 4.1 A and a permitted peak current of 12.3 A from the drive. The encoder electronics operate from a 4.75 to 5.25 V supply, which allows the feedback device to communicate position data to the connected drive without a separate external source. Low rotor inertia supports quick reversals on short-cycle axes, while acoustic emission is rated at 65 dB(A) under load. The allowable ambient temperature range is 0 °C to 40 °C for normal operation.

Mechanical integration is supported by an 80 mm square flange with a 90 mm mounting bolt circle and a 70 mm spigot that centers the housing.
