The MS2M04-A0FNN-KMDH0 is an AC synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. As part of an ultra-compact motor group, it drives small automation axes where space and weight are restricted. The unit converts electrical power into rotational motion for positioning tasks in packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and other CNC assemblies. Its compact format also suits feeders, transfer units, and light indexing mechanisms installed in tight machine spaces.

It delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.75 kW at its rated operating point, corresponding to a shaft speed of 3000 rpm and a phase current of 4.1 A. For short duty bursts, the current may rise to 12.3 A, allowing the rotor to reach 7.16 Nm of peak torque. The stator winding is matched to that operating speed and has a phase resistance of 0.57 Ω at 20 °C. Five pole pairs interact with rare-earth magnets, and the low-inertia rotor in a size 4 frame with an A-length housing supports fast acceleration. This operating range supports responsive acceleration and deceleration on short-stroke axes.

A 23-bit optical encoder in single-turn or multi-turn design reports absolute position through M17 SPEEDCON quick-lock connectors, and power is carried through double metal lead cables. Absolute feedback allows the connected drive to detect rotor position immediately after startup without a reference move. The phase inductance measures 5.10 mH, while the motor develops 2.39 Nm of continuous torque with a constant of 0.59 Nm/A; its back-EMF gradient is 20.7 mV/rpm. The housing is rated IP65 and uses natural convection for heat removal. It is specified for 0 to 40 °C ambient air and produces 65 dB(A) at full load. Control electronics need 4.75–5.25 V, the internal discharge capacity is 0.97 nF, the plain shaft comes without a sealing ring, and the unit has no holding brake.
