The unit is a permanent-magnet servo motor intended to deliver precise rotary motion in space-restricted assembly machines, packaging lines, and semiconductor tools. By pairing a slim frame with high dynamic capability, it enables drive controllers to position loads quickly while conserving cabinet depth and machine footprint.
Thermal management relies on natural convection, so no external blower or liquid circuit is required, and heat dissipates through the housing. Position data is generated by a 23-bit optical encoder capable of single-turn or multi-turn tracking, allowing the drive to resolve more than eight million counts per revolution. Power and signal connections use M17 connectors with a quick-lock SPEEDCON mechanism to simplify installation. The motor has frame size 2 and frame length B, pairing the stator stack with a minimal footprint while preserving torque capability. The electromagnetic circuit employs five pole pairs and a 3000 rpm winding, providing a balance between speed range and detent torque.
