The MS2M03-A0FNN-KMDH0 is an ultra-compact synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. As a tightly packaged rotary drive, it supplies closed-loop motion for pick-and-place axes, handling gantries, and small conveyor stations where space and weight are limited. The motor uses naturally cooled windings and an optical 23-bit single-turn/multi-turn encoder so that position feedback and thermal behavior suit the short duty cycles common in automated assembly cells. Its compact form also helps small machine modules maintain responsive motion without adding much moving mass.

During continuous operation, the unit develops a rated torque of 0.64 Nm at a rated speed of 3000 rpm, producing a mechanical output of 0.2 kW. These values are achieved with a phase current of 1.50 A and a torque constant of 0.42 Nm/A, so the drive can calculate current demand from the required shaft load. Natural convection cooling eliminates external blowers, and the motor is intended for ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C. Low rotor inertia supports rapid acceleration during short move profiles, and a double metal leadwire cable carries both power and feedback to M17 SPEEDCON quick-lock connectors.
