The MS2M02-A0FNN-KMDL1 is an ultra-compact synchronous servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. Designed for tight installation spaces, the unit converts drive controller commands into precise rotary motion for packaging stations, pick-and-place axes, and small assembly tooling in industrial automation. It uses the second frame size to support dynamic motion while keeping the overall footprint small. This format is well suited for machine sections where short motor length helps preserve workspace around tooling and transfer mechanisms.

An optical encoder with 23-bit resolution provides single-turn or multi-turn position data for accurate velocity control and repeatable positioning. The winding is tuned for a base speed of 3000 rpm, and the rotor reaches 6000 rpm while delivering up to 0.48 Nm. Low inertia helps the motor respond quickly during rapid start-and-stop cycles. An electrically released brake operates from 24 V DC and locks the shaft at rest.
