The PB SANMOTION Servo Motors series is a closed-loop stepping motor family designed to combine the straightforward control characteristics of stepping motors with the position feedback and reliability benefits normally associated with servo systems.
All motors in the series use encoder feedback, allowing the system to reduce the risk of step-out under changing load conditions while also supporting stable stopping, lower vibration, and more efficient operation with reduced heat generation. The lineup includes 28 mm, 42 mm, 60 mm, and 86 mm square motor sizes, with standard models as well as low-backlash gear, harmonic gear, and electromagnetic brake versions to suit different mechanical requirements. Depending on the configuration, the series supports AC or DC input systems and can be used with RS-485 plus parallel I/O, pulse train, multi-input, or EtherCAT-based control architectures. The PB SANMOTION Servo Motors series is intended for precise motion applications such as semiconductor equipment, analytical and testing devices, monitoring systems, and other machinery that benefits from compact closed-loop positioning performance.
