Product Description:

Danaher engineered Slo-Syn Stepping Motor variant M061-FD-301 which has a weight of 2.1 ounces standard or 6 ounces with a gearhead option. In its standard configuration or with gearhead, it has a maximum moment of inertia of 2.6×10⁻⁴ oz-in/sec2 max or 5.0×10⁻⁴ oz-in/sec2 max, respectively. With a bearing life of L10 = 2 billion revolutions and 100,000 rad/sec² acceleration, the device can respond in the nanoseconds range in high speed applications. It also comes with 0.250 in. or 0.375 in. bore size that is suitable with the various shaft diameter.

In this product version, it gives maximum slew speed of 15,000 rpm or 7,000 rpm, alternatively, for enabling fast repositioning. Strain relief able to take 10 lbs. pull on cable or wire bundle provides reliable connectivity. A robust mechanical fixture is implemented using mounting holes of 2 × #4-40 spaced 180on a 1.812 in. diameter bolt circle. 0.005 in. For a shaft to mount perpendicularity, it shows the Total Indicator Reading (TIR) of 0.005 in. The drive limits shaft endplay between –0.010 in. and –0.060 in. to reduce mechanical looseness during operation. The M061-FD-301 further requires a shaft diameter of 0.2495/0.2500 in. for the smaller bore or 0.3745/0.3750 in. for the larger bore. It mandates a minimum usable shaft length of 0.56 in. (with a required length of 0.70 in.).

This stepper motor offers cycles per revolution options of 200, 400, 500, or 1250 lines that allows for tailored resolution. It operates on a supply voltage of 5 VDC. It delivers a dual channel quadrature output with a minimum 45edge separation, available as square wave TTL compatible (sinking up to 10 mA) or with differential line drivers (sinking up to 20 mA) improving signal integrity. This module features a rated torque of 0.45 Nm and sustains an operating temperature range of -20C to 80C, which assures performance under diverse environmental conditions.
