Product Description:
The M063-FD09 is a 2-phase bipolar stepper motor that is part of the Superior Electric SLO-SYN series. The motor features a NEMA 23 frame size and is designed for applications that require precise motion control and reliability.
With a step angle of 1.8° every step, the M063-FD09 2-phase bipolar stepper motor provides a full step resolution of 200 steps per revolution. Both the shaft diameter and length are 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) and 3/4 inch (19.05 mm), respectively. You can store the motor anywhere from-40°C to 85°C, and it works in a temperature range of 0°C to 75°C. The maximum non-condensing humidity it can withstand is 95%, and operating altitudes reach 10,000 feet (3,048 meters). The ideal DC power supply voltage falls between 24 and 36 V, with a nominal value of 28 V. Presently, the 230-T(H) drive needs 2.5 A and the 430-T(H) drive 4.0 A. For the control interface to function reliably, it requires optically isolated TTL logic inputs and a filter capacitor with a minimum capacity of 4700 µF (50 V DC). There are four mounting holes on the flange, each measuring 0.250 inch (6.35 mm), which allows for easy mounting.
Ensuring excellent driving performance, the M063-FD09 stepper motor is compatible with Danaher Motion 230-T(H) and 430-T(H) translator modules. Approximate holding torque is 1.06 N·m, or 150 oz-in. The resistance of each phase is 0.49 Ω, and the inductance is 3.3 H. The motor's dependable torque production and accurate step control make it an ideal choice for such systems. Tough tasks necessitating reliable performance and extended motor life informed the design of this motor's electrical and mechanical requirements. To protect control signals from noise, optically isolated TTL logic inputs are used.
