Bosch Rexroth’s VT-VPCD series is a digital control electronics platform used with A4VS pumps with HS4 control and A2V pumps with EO4 control for electro-hydraulic swivel-angle control, pressure control, and power limitation.
The series operates from 24 VDC and uses a microcontroller-based architecture with configurable analog command and actual-value inputs, digital parameter-call inputs, and a clocked flow-controlled valve output stage. It supports both open-circuit pressure control with one pressure sensor and closed-circuit pressure control with two pressure sensors, while also processing valve-position and pump-swivel-angle feedback through inductive measuring systems. Parameter sets for swivel angle, pressure, power limitation, and ramp times can be stored and selected digitally, and the platform also supports leakage compensation, master/slave capability, configurable test outputs, and local-bus networking for up to 32 control electronics. The series is available with RS-232 communication and optional PROFIBUS DPV0, DeviceNet, or CANopen variants, and it is built in a Euro-card 100 x 160 mm format with a front display, status LEDs, and configurable measuring sockets.
