Product Description:

Industrial hydraulics is one engineering field where Bosch Rexroth has established itself as a reliable brand. It constantly manufactures application-specific solutions for this industry to simply work and improve efficiency. The VT-VPCD digital amplifier cards are electrical components in its closed-loop control system with HS4 control.

The VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-D-1 is a digital controller amplifier for operating axial piston pumps of type A4VS with HS4 control. It features analog inputs for command and actual values, as well as Enable input and collective fault output. Like others in the series, it is built for implementing the electrical functions required for the HS4 control. This form of control provides the electrohydraulic closed-loop regulation of swivel angle and pressure and limits the power of variable displacement axial piston pumps. The digital controller amplifier card is designed as a double-sided printed circuit board that is 100mm wide and 160mm long and in line with the Euro-card format. It weighs 0.2kg and uses a 64-pin male connector based on the DIN 41 612, form G standard, as its connector.

Parameterizing and commissioning the VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-D-1 is simplified thanks to the user-friendly BODAC program for PC by Bosch Rexroth. The software program performs its function via the RS232 serial interface on the amplifier's front panel. It is available for free download from the company’s official website and is also used to run diagnostics. Aiding fault identification and resolution on the amplifier are LEDs, which also provide information on the operating states of the device. The ideal supply voltage for operating this VT-VPCD model is 24 VDC with a +40% to –10% tolerance. Its maximum current consumption value is 2A.
