Bosch Rexroth Indramat's VT-VR4D-10/V2 Amplifier allows for exact regulation of automation system valves and actuators. Direct current (DC) supplies, typically 24 VDC with a tolerance of ±10%, are its principal power sources. This amplifier is perfect for uses requiring exact control of position and speed since it reliably operates in automated systems.
With an analog input range of 0-10V or ±9V, the VT-VR4D-10/V2 amplifier can regulate the valve or actuator. Using feedback signals enables PID control to keep the valves precisely positioned. Users are able to customize the valve's reaction time to input fluctuations through the amplifier's ramp control capabilities. To activate the system, an enable input signal, for instance, would require a voltage of 8.5V or greater; to disable it, a low value of 6.5V or lower would suffice. There is a nominal operating voltage of 24V and an operational voltage range of 2.4V to 16.8V for the relay output. By keeping an eye on the current—typically no more than 2A max—the amplifier can fine-tune the location of the solenoids. In a typical operating environment, the temperature drift is 1.6 mA/°C, and the temperature range is 0–45 °C.
The VT-VR4D-10/V2 amplifier includes diagnostic outputs for troubleshooting and LED indicators for status feedback. The coil resistance is set to 2150Ω when the relay is functioning. Simply mounting the amplifier on a DIN rail allows for easy integration into control panels during installation. An increase or decrease in the amount of external ramp inputs controls the response time. The small footprint of the amplifier makes it a good fit for control rooms that are short on floor space.
