The VT-VPCD-1-1X/V100/1-0-1 is a plug-in drive control card developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-VPCD Drives series. The board occupies one slot in a control rack and interfaces with external sensors and actuators through standardized voltage and current channels. In industrial automation, it translates low-level setpoints from a PLC into proportional commands suitable for servo drives, valves, or other motion elements, allowing closed-loop control with short internal processing cycles.
The card operates from a logic supply of 24 VDC, which simplifies integration with typical machine control buses. Under maximum load, its electronics draw up to 3.5 A, a figure used when sizing cabinet power distribution and fusing. Internal signal processing is cyclical, and each scan is completed in 2 ms, so updated control values are sent to the outputs very quickly.
