Bosch Rexroth is a pioneer designer and manufacturer of future-proof devices for applications in industrial hydraulics. It is the creator of the closed-loop control system with HS4 control and the VT-VPCD digital amplifier cards, which are also part of this system.
The VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-C-1 is a model of the VT-VPCD digital amplifier cards by Bosch Rexroth. Like others in the series, it is a double-sided printed circuit board in the Euro-card format, 100mm in width and 160mm in length. Its primary function is the implementation of the electrical functions required for the HS4 control, which ensures the electrohydraulic closed-loop control of swivel angle and pressure. It also plays a crucial role in limiting the power of variable displacement axial piston pumps. To perform these operations, this amplifier card works with a nominal supply voltage of 24 VDC with +40% to –10% tolerance. Its scanning rate is 2ms, while its connector type is a 64-pin male connector in line with DIN 41 612, form G.
An RS232 serial interface is present on the front panel of the VT-VPCD-1-1X/V0/1-C-1 as a 9-pin D-sub socket. It aids the configuration of the digital amplifier with the user-friendly BODAC program for PC. This software program can be downloaded for free from the official Bosch Rexroth site and used to commission the card as desired.
