Bosch Rexroth IKL control cables are pre-engineered feedback and control cables used to connect Rexroth servo motors, encoders/resolvers, and auxiliary motor components to compatible Bosch Rexroth drives and control systems.
In a typical motion setup, the IKL cable set carries low-level signals—such as encoder feedback, temperature sensor lines, brake control, and other I/O—between the motor and the drive so the drive can “see” the motor’s position/speed and manage protective functions. By routing these signals through shielded, correctly pinned conductors, IKL cables help reduce electrical noise and maintain signal integrity next to high-power motor leads, which supports stable commutation, accurate positioning, and consistent fault monitoring.
