By combining a molded field connector with pre-stripped conductors, the cable provides a ready-to-install path for 24 V power and reference signals, minimizing wiring errors and reducing startup time on the production floor.
The molded connector on the device side conforms to the M12 circular standard, so it mates with common field sensors and actuators used in IP65 applications. The contact insert is female, which helps prevent accidental shorting from exposed pins during handling. A straight housing allows cable routing through cable trays or energy chains without the additional bend radius often needed by angled plugs. Internally, four gold-plated contacts give a rated pin count of 4, providing separate power and logic pairs while keeping the connector compact.
