The IKL0021 control cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a component of the IKL Control Cables series. Designed for installation in industrial motion systems, this ready-terminated cable transmits motor power, auxiliary control, and protective earth signals between a Rexroth drive and the field device. Its purpose is to simplify wiring inside machinery, maintain conductor geometry for electromagnetic compatibility, and help connected equipment operate within the intended electrical limits.
The power bundle inside the IKL0021 consists of 4 power cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², allowing the drive to deliver continuous phase current while keeping voltage drop within normal design margins. In addition, the cable carries 2 auxiliary pairs built from twisted conductors that each measure 0.75 mm². These smaller pairs are intended for temperature sensors, brakes, or other low-current loads that share the same route. Together with the green/yellow protective earth, the assembly totals 8 conductors, matching the pin allocation of the mating connector and making the cable suitable for compact servo axes. Because the product is supplied as a ready-made assembly, no field crimping or insulation removal is required, which reduces installation errors and preserves the cable shielding.
