Product Description:

The EK1960-2600 EK EtherCAT Coupler is manufactured by Beckhoff, which provides precise switching control with durable contact design and full compliance with industry standards. The relay coil of this coupler operates at 24 VDC nominal voltage to make it fully compatible with most control systems and power interfaces used in industrial setups.

This EK1960-2600 EK EtherCAT Coupler has a double-contact relay system with 1 normally open (NO) and 1 normally closed (NC) contact and facilitates both activation and feedback functions. The make contact (NO) of this coupler comprises AgNi material with 0.2 µm gold plating, which enhances the electrical conductivity, reduces arcing, and ensures stable operation in high-frequency switching. Similarly, the feedback contact (NC) uses AgNi with 5 µm gold plating, which provides longer contact life, better oxidation resistance, and improved signal reliability under prolonged use. The minimum switchable current provided to this coupler is 10 mA to allow precise operation with the lowest signal currents. According to IEC/EN 60947-5-1 standards, this coupler is capable of switching, rated DC13 at 24 VDC / 2 A for reliable functionality under various conditions.

The EK1960-2600 coupler has a maximum switching frequency of 20 switching cycles per second, which provides instant actuation in dynamic automation systems. This coupler functions successfully between -25 °C to +55 °C to operate under extreme and varying thermal conditions. This coupler functions at air pressures ranging from 750 hPa to 1100 hPa to provide installation convenience across different altitudes. This coupler also contains an IP20 protection level under IEC 60529, and resists air humidity of 5% to 95%, non-condensing, to ensure its long-term stability under varying industrial conditions. The shock resistance of this coupler is according to EN 60068-2-27 for shielding it from mechanical shocks.
