Product Description:

The AKM synchronous servomotors are specially designed for heavy industrial duties such as drives for industrial robots, textile, packing machinery, as well as machine tools. The AKM42G-EKCN2-00 is one of the most significant AKM series designed to perform these vital industrial operations better and faster.  The AKM42G-EKCN2-00 has features such as 84mm flange size, rotor length of 2 and winding type G that makes it suitable for its purpose. It makes use of rotatable angular connectors, alternative IEC flange standard, and open keyway to ensure its suitability for industrial purposes. The feedback system is composed of comcoder with 2048 PPR having a standard customization.

At 120oC, the AKM42G-EKCN2-00 has holding torque of 6Nm and electric power of 12.8W. It has a round angular, 4+4 poles power connection, 17 poles round angular encoder connection, and 12 poles round angular resolver. These features are to ensure that the machine functions with low harmonic distortion and smooth performance. It has a rated speed of 3500rpm, a rated torque of 2.90Nm, and a rated power of 1.06Kw at 230V. It can move up to 6000rpm at 400V, ensuring users always have enough power. The effective sinusoidal value also known as the peak current is almost equal to 4-times the rated current. Likewise, AKM42 is optionally available for holding brakes.
