Product Description

The HDD02.1-W040N-HD12-01-FW drive controller must be installed vertically in a closed housing or a control cabinet that complies with EN 50175/1988 specifications. The Bosch Rexroth device works with the manufacturer’s 1MB frameless spindle and 2AD AC motors. This product can be put to use in applications related to robotics and machine tools. It may have to be integrated with an HZB brake resistor if high drive performance is required and the connected power supply system does not support regeneration. This brake resistor helps in preventing the controlled energy from breaking. The unit is also compatible with an HZF power connection module. The drive controller can be delivered to any country with a warranty for one year.

The drive controller must not be put to use without permanent connection of the ground wire. The capacitors should be allowed to discharge for at least five minutes after the power is turned off before any work is undertaken on the product. The unit must not be operated along with a residual current operated device. A copper conductor that has a minimum cross-sectional area of 10mm2 should be used over the full length of the device for a protective connection. The controller is likely to encounter dangerous movements if it has defective components or there are errors in the software.

The product must be in standstill mode before entering or accessing the danger zone. The power connection of the device should be disconnected with the help of a master switch if the controller needs to be cleaned or kept unused for a long time. It is essential to secure the master switch against reconnection in this case. The resistors, heatsink, housing and other parts of the unit must be touched only 10 minutes after the unit has finished operation. The product has a function ID code of 12.
