The HDS02.2-W040N-HD12-01-FW drive controller is used to control the motor’s position, speed, and torque. In addition to executing the servomechanism, the controller is used to drive a motor’s main spindle. With an IP 10 degree protection, the drive’s external enclosure is protected against objects that are larger than 50 mm in size. The required operational parameters are pre-programmed in the system. Because of the modular structure, the firmware module can be installed in any other drive controller. Since drive parameters can be stored in the firmware module, they can be instantly transferred to other drives by inserting the module in their software module slot.

Rexroth’s gear type encoders can be connected with this drive controller with the help of an interface card. This model functions perfectly in a temperature range of 5 ᵒC to 45 ᵒC.
