The 8I74T400075.010-1 is an AC inverter unit from the 8I7 ACOPOS Inverters series engineered by B & R Automation. It converts three-phase line power into a variable-frequency, variable-voltage output so that connected induction motors can be accelerated, decelerated, or held at precise speeds within automated machinery lines. Within an automation cell it replaces mechanical speed control elements with electronic regulation.

The drive supplies 0.75 kW (1 hp) of mechanical power to the motor shaft when operated at rated conditions. In addition, a maximum apparent power of 2.3 kVA must be provided by the mains, and the output stage delivers 2.3 A RMS to the motor windings. Three analog inputs and six digital inputs permit set-point, enable, and limit signals to reach the control logic.
