The CX5130-0120 is an embedded PC from Beckhoff Automation that acts as a control system. The device is a part of the CX5130 series of control systems from Beckhoff Automation. It operates between a temperature range of -25°C and +60°C. The unit supports several gateway functions and connection options through an optional interface. The control system supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440. The device must not be operated in dusty and wet environments. It should be installed in a housing that is capable of meeting the IP54 protection class rating.

The control system functions using the Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32-bit operating system. The unit offers no support for any TwinCAT control software. CX5130’s approvals and markings include CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx. This PC is designed with protection from solid materials, but it can still be sensitive to strong impacts and vibrations, and is susceptible to damage from liquids. The control system must be transported from one place to another in the original packaging that protects against mechanical stress. The unit’s dimensions (W x H x D) are 142mm x 100mm x 91mm. It comprises a DVI-I interface and two independent Gbit Ethernet interfaces.

The bus terminals of the device can be fitted to the right side of the power supply. The power supply is capable of detecting the type of bus system. The embedded PC comes fitted with a dual-core Intel Atom processor with a clocking frequency of 1.75GHz. The USB ports of the control system can be used to connect touchscreens, mice, keyboards and storage devices. The unit has a DVI-I interface for connecting an analog or a digital motor and transferring digital data. It must be installed only in horizontal orientation on the mounting rail.
