Product Description:

The AKM12C-ANCNR-00 is a synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen in the AKM series which delivers high and dynamic performance. The motor is fitted with a 40mm flange and has a rotor length of 2 as well as a winding type of C. The connectors of the unit must not be unplugged when the motor is in use. The device operates at a temperature range of 5°C and 40°C. If the motor is mounted vertically with the shaft end upwards, care must be taken to ensure that liquids do not enter the upper bearing. The unit features Class F insulation. The device is available with a warranty period of one year.

The motor must be used only with a SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier under torque or speed control. The device should never have a direct connection to the mains supply. The motor windings are integrated with a thermal contact and the rotor is housed with permanent rare earth magnets. The unit has a peak current rating of 6.06A and a peak torque rating of 1.08A. The lightweight motor weighs 0.49kg. The rotor has a moment of inertia of 0.031kgcm2. The design of the flange is based on IEC specifications. The device is fitted with a smooth shaft and a 0.5m shielded cable with IP 65 connectors.

The servomotor must be checked for bearing noise after every 2500 hours of operation. The operation should be stopped when there is such a noise and the bearings must be replaced. The motor may not rotate due to instances such as non-enabling of the servo amplifier, mechanical block in the drive, or wrong sequence of motor phases.
