The AKM12C-ANMN2-00 is a brushless DC servomotor launched by Kollmorgen, the industry leader. The motor is designed exclusively to be used in industrial environments. The motor has permanent magnets in its rotor. The rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnetic material is a crucial factor in making it possible to dynamically drive the motor. The device has ball bearings with grease packing. The life of these bearings is 20,000 hours of operation under normal conditions, after which the bearings must be replaced. The motor should be checked for bearing noise every 2500 operating hours, respectively each year. If the user hears any noises, the operation of the servomotor should be stopped, and the bearings should be replaced. The AKM servomotor comes with a flange size of 40 mm and a rotor length of 2. It has a C type winding. The device features a smooth shaft. The unit has a 0.5m shielded cable with IP20 connectors for power supply and feedback signals. The flange design is customized in accordance with IEC Standard. The servomotor portrays standard customization. The motor is brushless; commutation is performed electronically by the servo amplifier used. There are a total of 6 poles in the device. When it comes to wiring up the AKM servomotor, care should be taken that only staff qualified and trained in electrical engineering should be allowed to do it.
