The TBM Bleeder Modules from Bosch Rexroth Indramat are auxiliary braking-energy dissipation units designed for use with the TVM mains supply module in regenerative drive systems.
These modules increase the system’s ability to handle returned energy during deceleration by adding 2.25 kW of continuous bleeder power, 50 kW of peak bleeder power, and a maximum regenerated energy capacity of 114 kWs. The series is electrically controlled through the TVM EB output, with the control interface specified for up to 425 V and 500 mA. For thermal management, the module uses a separately supplied 24 VDC blower circuit with a listed current draw of 140 mA to support heat dissipation during operation. The mechanical design uses a cabinet-mount form factor of approximately 390 mm high, 208 mm wide, and 105 mm deep, and installation requires open clearance around the unit so braking heat can be safely released.
