The TBM 1.2-40-W1-220/S100 is an auxiliary bleeder unit manufactured for controlling the voltage of TVM series power supply voltages. The device is used to ensure the safety of the equipment and the users. It is used to quickly discharge the filter capacitors connected with the machines. When power is supplied to the machines, the capacitors start charging. The charge is stored in the capacitor units are they can provide an electric shock even when the power supply is disengaged. This bleeder unit rapidly discharges the capacitor units and prevents accidents at the workplace. The TBM 1.2-40-W1-220/S100 has a 40 kW bleeder power and is installed in the automation line. When voltage values begin to rise and get close to the threshold value, the resistor is engaged and provides a path for current to flow. An optimum operating temperature is ensured with a help of a blower fan that aids fast heat dissipation. Besides, its role as a safety device, the bleeder unit is also used for voltage regulation and as a voltage divider.
