Product Description:
The MDD093C-N-020-N2L-110PB0 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into controlled mechanical motion for indexing tables, gantries, and other automated axes. Its internal permanent-magnet rotor works with real-time feedback so the connected controller can regulate speed and position during continuous-duty operation. This makes the motor suitable for applications that need accurate starts, stops, and repeatable positioning while the load changes during normal machine cycles.
The front flange has a centering diameter of 110 mm, which fits common gearbox pilot bores and helps align the motor on the machine face. Power and feedback conductors exit on side B of the housing through a sealed connector, which supports compact cable routing where rear clearance is limited. The shaft uses a keyway for positive torque transfer, and a shaft seal helps keep contaminants away from internal bearing and stator areas. The housing uses a standard unventilated design, and the opposite end has no side B shaft extension, which keeps the overall form compact and leaves the drive end clear for direct coupling.
The rated mechanical speed is 2000 rpm, allowing moderate operating speed with strong torque delivery for feed axes and indexing duties. Position data is returned through digital servo feedback (DSF), so the controller can monitor rotor movement directly and maintain closed-loop performance without an external encoder. The feedback system also supports stable low-speed control and smooth correction of load-related disturbances during cycle changes. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so external holding is required when the load must remain fixed after power is removed. The frame uses length code C, giving a longer active stack within the 093 size and supporting higher continuous torque during sustained operation.
