Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat HVR03.2-W045N is a design-version 2 power supply unit from the HVR Series 03. It operates from a three-phase mains input of 380 to 480 VAC with a ±10 percent tolerance and has a mains current rating of 68 A at 400 V. The unit converts the incoming AC supply into a regulated DC-bus voltage for connected drive controllers, with an output-power rating of 45 kW. Its maximum load power input is rated at 500 VA.
During regenerative operation, energy returned by connected motors enters the common DC bus and is managed by the HVR power supply. The HVR03.2-W045N has a maximum regenerated-energy rating of 80 kWs. This value represents the amount of energy associated with a regenerative event, whereas the 45 kW rating defines the unit’s power output. On the mains side, the line cross-section is 25 mm² and the maximum fuse rating is 80 A. These connection values correspond with the unit’s 68 A mains-current rating and must be incorporated into the supply wiring and protective-device arrangement.
Internal air cooling is provided by a built-in blower that moves air through the power supply and across its heat-generating components. The unit has basic losses of 150 W, additional losses of 27 W per kilowatt of output, and a total power loss of 1,350 W. These losses become heat within the control cabinet, so the enclosure cooling system must maintain sufficient airflow around the power supply. The maximum ambient temperature under derated operating conditions is 55°C, meaning output reduction is required when operating within the derated temperature range. With a total weight of 31 kg, the unit also requires a mounting surface capable of supporting the unit securely.
