It is used in medium-power packaging lines, printing presses, and gantries where a centralized DC link simplifies wiring and supports multiple connected axes. By feeding several drives from one source, the unit allows recovered braking energy to remain available on the common bus instead of being handled separately by each axis. That arrangement is useful in machines where several motion axes start and stop in close sequence.
Thermal management uses internal air cooling with a built-in blower, so no external ducting is required and cabinet temperatures stay within limits.
