CS Compact Controller Systems are integrated tightening controllers that combine a servo amplifier, power supply, controller, display, and expansion slots for optional interface modules in a single compact enclosure for industrial tightening applications.
The platform is designed to operate with compatible hand-held nutrunners or stationary tightening spindles, supplying motor power and handling interface signaling through dedicated tool/spindle connections. Variants add different operator interfaces and computing capability, including larger touchscreen displays and optional integrated logic compliant with IEC 61131-3 for sequencing, while noting that the integrated logic is not intended for safety-critical functions. For connectivity and commissioning, the systems provide common service and integration interfaces such as USB (device and host), Ethernet networking, serial communication, external display connection, and removable mass storage support. Safety-related integration is supported through a dedicated motor-off interface with two independent stop circuit concepts (contactor-based isolation and rotating-field suppression) to tie the tightening system into an external emergency-stop strategy.
