The BODAS Controllers series is a Bosch Rexroth line of programmable control units for mobile working machines, designed for both open-loop and closed-loop control of hydraulic components and related machine functions.
The series is intended for applications such as hydrostatic travel drives, working hydraulics, and transmission control, with hardware that can process analog voltage, current, resistance, frequency, and switching signals. Across the platform, the controllers provide pulse-width-modulated proportional outputs and switched outputs for direct control of solenoids, relays, lamps, and similar devices used in mobile equipment. Communication and service integration are handled through interfaces such as CAN bus and RS232, allowing diagnostics, parameter setting, process-variable display, and data exchange with other electronic systems. The controllers are built for harsh mobile environments with sealed aluminum housings, watchdog-based monitoring, safety shutdown functions, and resistance to vibration, shock, moisture, salt exposure, and electromagnetic interference.
