PC3400 Servo Drives

The PC3400 Servo Drives series is a Pacific Scientific family of all-digital servo drives built for controlling brushless servomotors and, on certain versions, brush DC motors in industrial motion applications.

The series includes both digital and intelligent drive configurations in AC- and DC-input versions, and the intelligent models can store and execute motion programs so they can perform more complex motion tasks without relying on a separate motion controller. Across the range, the drives use Space Vector Modulation motor control and support multiple command and feedback arrangements, including analog reference, step-based control, encoder following, and serial communications, along with resolver, encoder, Hall, tachometer, or related feedback combinations depending on model. The platform also supports ToolPAC configuration and diagnostics through RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 communication, with networked multi-axis capability and expanded I/O available on selected units. Integrated heatsink construction, onboard status and diagnostic indication, regenerative braking support, and protection functions for current, voltage, and temperature conditions make the series suitable for compact machine designs that need high-performance servo control.
