The H6 COMBIVERT Multi-Axis Drives series is a modular DC intermediate circuit-coupled drive system from KEB designed for the operation of synchronous and asynchronous machines in multi-axis automation applications.
The platform is built around a common system architecture that can combine rectifier or Active Front End modules, control modules with integrated 24 VDC supply, and single-axis or double-axis drive modules, allowing the system to be adapted to different machine layouts and power requirements. Across the series, the drives use EtherCAT as the system bus and support motion functions such as velocity control, synchronous speed control, synchronous position control, homing, and profile positioning. The range covers a broad current span from 2.6 A to 210 A on axis modules, includes overload capability up to 2.2 times rated current, and is available with different cooling arrangements including air-cooled and flat rear heat sink versions. The series also integrates functional safety features, with STO and SBC provided as standard and additional speed- and position-related safety functions available depending on the module configuration.
