In automated lines, it connects to an EtherCAT system bus and follows the CiA 402 application profile, allowing the host controller to issue position, velocity, or torque commands through standardized objects.
The module has a rated input of 400 V AC and a continuous line current of 60 A. From that supply, the converter delivers up to 30 kW of active power and 42 kVA of apparent output. Peak machine accelerations are supported by a maximum phase current of 90 A, while the internal control limits the switching frequency to 4 kHz under nominal load. Internal electronics generate 79 W of power loss, while the heat sink dissipates 382 W, and these values must be considered when establishing enclosure airflow.
