Product Description:
The 07.H6.BBP-21B0 is a dual-channel inverter module produced by KEB for the H6 Combivert Multi-Axis Drives series. It is intended for compact drive systems that regulate two motor axes from a common DC link. The module provides coordinated speed and torque control for machinery used in industrial automation cells, where multiple movements must operate in a synchronized manner.
Each channel delivers a rated active power of 2 × 0.75 kW from a three-phase supply rated at 400 V. The module’s maximum phase current is 2 × 5.2 A, while an overcurrent trip threshold of 2 × 6.2 A protects the semiconductors. Continuous input demand is 2 × 2.6 A, and the apparent output capability reaches 2 × 1.8 kVA. The switching devices operate at 4 kHz, balancing motor acoustics with semiconductor losses. These losses include heat sink dissipation of 36 W and an internal loss of 26 W that must be removed by cabinet airflow. Thermal derating begins when the internal heat sink reaches 80 °C, helping protect the power stage from excessive temperature. With a frame width of 50 mm, the unit fits into densely populated multi-axis drive stacks without requiring excessive panel space. Brake control is provided through a 24 VDC output rated at 2 × 2 A for holding or dynamic stopping functions.
Integration uses the CiA 402 motion profile over a real-time EtherCAT system bus, allowing synchronized operation with controllers that use IEC 61131 programming models. Functional safety is embedded through the dual-channel STO and SBC functions, meeting stop category requirements without external relays. The drive has an IP20 / VBG 4 protection class and must be installed inside a suitable electrical enclosure. The enclosure provides the additional protection required against contact, debris, and other conditions that could affect the exposed module. System diagnostics are reported over the fieldbus and include heat sink temperature, internal power loss, and brake status. This operating data allows the controller to monitor thermal loading and brake activity while the connected axes are running.
