Product Description:

KDA 3.3-150-3-A00-W1 is a main spindle drive. Bosch KDA drives are used for control of 2AD asynchronous motors and 1MB frameless spindle motors. A microcomputer carries out drive control, monitoring and diagnostics. This is aided by an accurate measurement of motor rotor position over the entire speed range. In addition to speed control, KDA drives provide a high degree of internal position control. Adaptation of motors and operation modes is done through parametrization, which is performed by an integrated input and display unit. The KDA 3.3-150-3-A00-W1 drive is designed for forced air cooling. It is equipped with a blower that requires 220 Volts AC external supply. DC bus voltage of the drive is 300 Volts DC. Its rated current output is 150 Amps and the continuous current output is 90 Amps.

The control electronics consume 1.6 Amps at 24 Volts DC and 160 milliamps at 15 Volts DC measuring voltage. Weight of the spindle drive unit is 17.4 kilograms. The blower unit weighs 4.2 kilograms.
