Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth KDA 3.3-050-3-A00-W1, this is a part of KDA Spindle Drives.
The AC spindle drive is suitable for use in different motors and for various applications with the help of parameters which are present in EEPROM. The AC Spindle is made of different components, each one of which has different functionalities. There is a three-phase power transformer, KDV Modular power supply, there is an AC asynchronous spindle motor with feedback, CDM computer drive module and KDA Asynchronous drive module.
The 3-phase auto transformer is used for the purpose of adapting the line power to 220VAC which is needed by KDV power supply. The power which is needed from the transformer is almost equal to 1.4 times the power of such drive systems. Indramat AC SERVO controllers can be powered by the transformer.
The KDV modular power supply which is used for converting the three phase 220 VAC input voltage to the DC bus voltage. This can be used for powering the AC Spindle motor. KDV is also suitable for powering AC Servo controllers. The quantity is usually dependent on the power required.
The product is available with a thermistor that is mounted on it. It helps in keeping a track of over temperature situations. The thermistor is well interfaced to CDM with the help of an overload detector. This is mounted in the control cabinet which is close to the spindle drive package.
