The CP2612-0000 is a 12-inch panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a fanless industrial computer, it combines visualization, control, and networking in a single housing, letting OEMs mount it on the front door of control cabinets and run TwinCAT or other automation software directly at the machine. The unit’s projected-capacitive interface provides operator input, while its integrated communication ports link the display terminal to field devices and higher-level networks.
Its electronics operate from a regulated input of 24 VDC, eliminating the need for local AC power converters. The front panel carries an IP65 rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach the TFT screen or the multi-finger touch sensor. Data exchange with supervisory systems occurs through a single RJ-45 port supporting the 10/100BASE-T Ethernet standard, and two USB 2.0 ports allow connection of thumb drives or service keyboards. Inside the sealed bezel, a fanless design tolerates ambient humidity up to 95% RH without condensation. The TFT display renders sharp graphics for process diagnostics, and a single microSD slot provides removable storage for recipe or log files.
Machine-level networking is supplemented by one EtherCAT port for deterministic I/O expansion and an RS-232 serial interface for legacy sensors. On the rear side, the housing is protected to IP20, making installation inside a cabinet necessary. During transport or operation, the computer withstands mechanical shocks of 5 G for up to 30 ms, so tabletop vibration benches and mobile equipment do not compromise internal boards. A weight of 3.0 kg eases mounting on swing arms or panel cutouts. The Ethernet, USB, and storage connections remain accessible for maintenance without removing the unit from service.
